The Landscape Foreman/Crew Leader takes responsibility for the safety, care, and proper maintenance of all company equipment and crew members.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to and communicates with Project Manager/Foreman

• Anticipates and communicates material, equipment, and labor needs for assigned portions of jobs

• Completes assigned tasks and projects within budgeted hours and to Manzer’s quality expectations

• Communicates with customers with professionalism and tact

• Adheres to and enforces safety standards

• Maintains complete, accurate, and timely records

• Takes responsibility for development and supervision of Technicians Class

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Works well with others and is a team player

• Has the ability to calculate basic items including square feet, cubic feet, cubic yards, and tons

• Has knowledge of grounds maintenance for both residential and commercial properties including fertilizing, pruning, and planting

• Wants to advance and grow with the company

• Must be highly detailed and take pride in his/her work

• Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must have valid NY driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to operate company rigs

• English speaking a must, Spanish a plus

Compensation for this position: $17-$28 per hour
